How many figures, or vehicles for that matter have used some kind of fabric as part of the design?
There's been a lot of plastic used over the years, but since the '82 series and on, how much fabric made it into the mix of materials?
We have the cardboard of the '82 Missile Command set.
Dusty, in 1985 had his helmet fabric.
Zanzibar had a mostly realistic top knot.
Destro had a cape in 1988.
Ghostrider had a scarf (which has to be a rare accessory, wouldn't it?).
Ambush (1990) has his netting.
Desert Scorpion (1991) has a similar thing to the 1985 Dusty, but the 1991 Dusty does not.
DEF Mutt (1992) has his net launcher.
1994 Manta Ray is inflatable, but technically still plastic?
Ninja Force figures have strap flair and even long hair.
The Ghillie suits popped up with a few figures in the GvC, and Spy Troop years.
The Sigma Six figures had quite a bit of material mixed.
Parachutes from Sky Patrol, convention sets, and the HALO packs, I suppose bring in some foil and string material.
Can you think of any other non-plastic material used with the GIJOE figures? Or figures/ vehicles I didn't mention?
Would you like to see more fabric used on modern 4-inch GIJOE figures?
